Senior Aquaculture Scientist

Cawthron is a leader in Aquaculture research and is looking for another senior scientist to join the team based in Nelson. The senior scientist will engage with the aquaculture industry and lead research in fish and/or shellfish health and nutrition, brood-stock conditioning and animal husbandry.

Suitable candidates will have a post graduate qualification, at least 10 years research and consulting experience and have been successful at securing research funding.

As well as good business development skills, they will be an excellent communicator and strong project manager.

Nursery and hatchery experience with fish and/or shellfish is required.
